History will be made this weekend in Armagh as Slaughtneil from Derry take on Cuala from Dublin as no club from either County has ever player in an All-Ireland Club Senior Hurling Final.
Slaughtneil are to play in the All-Ireland Club Football Championship Final against Dr Crokes with the camogie team also reaching the final of their competition.
Cuala from the south Dublin, Dalkey, beat the Kilkenny side O’Loughlin Gaels in the Leinster final making them the second ever Dublin club to win the competition.
Slaughtneil will give the GAA something to think about if they manage to overpower Cuala as 8 of the hurlers also represent the football team and put on a mighty performance against a St Vincent’s side who were looking for more All Ireland success.
