McCluskey missed most of the Erne men’s 2016 campaign through injury and his presence will boost a Fermanagh side looking to build on a strong showing in 2016 before losing out in a hard fought somewhat controversial loss to All Ireland Finalists Mayo in the qualifiers.

Manager Pete McGrath believes that his side are “very serious challengers who are on a par with any county in Ulster and have never been better placed to win their first provincial title.” McCluskey’s return will only reinforce McGrath’s belief.
