Finishing off this weekend with some great football and hurling in the Sigerson Cup and Club Junior Championship and Intermediate Club Championship we would just like to pay our respects Donal Devine.
Donal represented Westmeath in inter-county hurling at all levels and won four hurling championships with Castlepollard.
He sadly passed away this week at the age of 40 years old and leaves behind his wife and two young children.
Westmeath GAA posted on its Facebook page, “Westmeath GAA is today mourning the loss of Donal Devine Castlepollard who sadly passed away last night.
A true Castlepollard Gael, Donal gave a lifetime of service to the club and his passing has been a massive shock to his family, friends and the wider GAA community.
